Asset Management Junior Engineer

About the role

Reporting to the National Engineering Manager, this role is a fantastic opportunity for a newly Graduated Engineer to join the Fleet Marine Services Contract.  This is a shore based position responsible for providing engineering support to ensure the safe and efficient material worthiness of a variety of Assets including support craft under the control of the Engineering function.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
  • Tertiary Qualifications – Bachelor of Engineering majoring in either Mechanical, Marine and Offshore, Ocean, Naval Architecture or a relevant field
  • Intermediate Computer Skills (Word, Excel)
  • Background in a Maritime or Naval support environment
  • High tempo work ethic to support the operational requirements of the Navy – ability to adapt and change direction quickly
  • Ability to work in a team environment, performing multiple tasks as directed and without supervision within expected timeframes
  • Ability to obtain a baseline Defence Clearance
