About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Personal Injuries team as a Legal Assistant. Based in our Geelong office, you will use your established skill set that you have developed from your previous experience as a Legal Assistant to support our busy team in an administrative capacity on a full-time 13-month fixed term basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming enquiries and assist or transfer calls where appropriate
  • Provide accurate information to clients within a timely manner
  • Follow operator instructions to arrange opening and closing of files
  • Draft basic correspondence for clients
  • Arrange and manage appointments
  • Various administration tasks, including sorting mail, preparing bills and producing file notes

Key Selection Criteria

  • Solid experience in a similar role with exposure to litigation
  • Experience in a Personal Injuries practice desirable
  • A strong understanding of court processes
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite
