Project Support Officer

Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) and Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) have exciting opportunity for an Education and Training Administrative Officer. AGPAL is the leading provider of accreditation and related quality improvement services to general practices in Australia. AGPAL's subsidiary organisation QIP, established as a result of a merger between Australia's four major primary care accreditation bodies, delivers comprehensive accreditation and support services across the health and human services continuum.

Based at the Brisbane Office the primary role of this position is to provide administration support to the Education and Training team in developing and submitting tenders, grants and proposals. This position will also support new and existing projects with the Department.

The key deliverables of this role are:

  • Provide administration support for developing tenders, grants and proposals for Education and Training Department
  • Provide support and coordination of existing projects within the Education and Training Department

The successful candidate must possess:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Administration and/or Coordination
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, adhere to deadlines and timeframes, pay close attention to detail, follow through on tasks, and accept responsibility
  • The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously, as required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of Microsoft Office products including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Well-developed written, interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Understanding of education and training principles
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in supporting projects and or tenders is desirable
  • Understanding of health care, primary care, accreditation and quality improvement processes in health and/or community services is desirable
