APS3 Administration Officer

FULL TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY WITHIN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!
  • Central Location
  • Contract until 30 June 2020
  • Hourly rate between $30-$33 per hour + super

Exciting job opportunity for an experienced APS Administrator to join a highly regardable Department!

Your new company
In your new company you will be a part of a team that offers a broad range of programs and services to help the Departments families. The role requires personnel to review archive boxes and to ensure documents held reflect correct service information. This task requires interrogation and updating of the HR Management System to validate information and enable to reorganisation of the repository.

Your new role
Your new role requires someone that is accountable under routine direction, to perform and achieve straightforward procedural, administrative and business support work. You are required to have a basic understanding of, and compliance with, relevant legislative frameworks, government decision making and policy requirements. The tasks include but will not be limited to:

  • Provision of administration duties and attend to general enquiries by telephone, electronic media or in person.
  • Provision of administrative support to the staff, including but not limited to; raising and registering files and other records, undertaking general administration.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be organised and dedicated, willing to hit the ground running. You will be proactive, and able to work independently. Previous experience in a similar role within the Federal Government is essential for this position. You will also ideally have proven experience in the following:

  • A Baseline Clearance is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support with a strong Customer focus.
  • Demonstrated drive and commitment while working in a team environment.
  • Effective self-management skills included ability to organise and prioritise own work and achieve results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
