Based in Chermside, we are an established, very busy gastroenterology practice. Our practice is unique in our approach to total patient care and you will be an integral part of the process. Our medical support staff play a vital role in our service delivery.

The successful candidate will be working in a friendly, supportive, collaborative environment which will offer you plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your skill set and develop your competencies.

A casual position is available for approx. 25-30 hours per fortnight.  Ability to cover holiday and sick leave from time to time is also a necessity. 

A career background working in a similar specialist environment would be highly regarded.

Applicants without medical reception prior experience will be considered if the following attributes are demonstrated:

-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-Strong use of initiative

-Uncompromising attention to detail and ability to multi-task is vital.

-Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining strong communication with a supportive team.

-Proficient computer skills, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to quickly adapt to new computer programs. Knowledge of 'Genie' software highly regarded but not essential.
