Kings Canyon is one of the Red Centre's little known jewels. Hidden deep in Watarrka National Park, it is a breath taking sandstone chasm that spectacularly plunges over 150 metres into the earth. Home to Kings Canyon Rim Walk, the area receives more than 250,000 international and domestic visitors per year.

The property is looking for an experienced Guest Service Agent to join their team. Someone with a managerial background in hotel & resorts would be highly regarded in this role. You will be joining a team of committed, passionate and service focused team striving to provide an exceptional guest experience.

About the Role

Your role responsibilities will include;

  • Guest check-in and out proceedures
  • Answering Phones/re-directing to rooms or offices
  • Allocation of rooms and camp sites on the property
  • Ability to work across a 7-day roster
  • Directions and reccomedations of guest activities around the resort

For this role, you will have;

  • Hotel Front Office supervising experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel/resort
  • Experience with Opera highly advantageous
  • Ability to deliver exceptionally high levels of guest service
  • Excellent grooming and presentation, attention to detail and ability to think on your feet and work under pressure.
  • Previous experience in managing/supervising a team of staff
  • Personable, presentable with excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated organisational skills
  • Be a passionate and active team player

Qualifications/ Certificate

  • Fidelio Opera PMS skills (essential)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Highly developed interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Unrestricted/Open Driver's License (Desirable)

These are "live-on" remote location roles. Working in a remote location is not for everyone, so you must think carefully about the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
