Program Support /Customer Service Officer

Program Support Officer / Customer Service Officer - Adelaide CBD & Salisbury

  • Fulltime maximum term position to 8 June 2020

  • Primarily based in Adelaide CBD, but will need to work at Salisbury when required

  • Annual salary is $56,333 + 9.5% super (2.5% salary increase from 22 July 2019)

About you:

You have strong administrative and time management skills with extensive experience working with spreadsheets and program databases.  You enjoy working as part of a team and have high attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly and show initiative.  The ability to communicate with clients with limited English language skills and experience working with clients from a refugee background will be highly beneficial.

Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or similar field and / or

  • At least 3 years' experience in a frontline customer service role

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Office Administration

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to a team of staff or a manager

  • Highly developed computer skills with the ability to effectively utilise word-processing, spread sheet and database packages to maintain the office electronic records management system and databases

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with particular ability to adapt as new priorities arise

  • Well-developed customer service skills for liaison with internal and external customers

  • Good oral and written communication skills and demonstrated discretion including the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters

  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision; pay particular attention to detail and process information according to strict timelines

  • Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability, teamwork and professionalism consistent with the AMES Vision and Mission and demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement principles
