Marketing Services Officer

About the role

The Marketing Services Officer sits in the Industry and Destination Development Section, within the City Prosperity Group. The Industry and Destination Development Section looks after destination development and marketing for the Coffs Coast region.

The Marketing Services Officer is responsible for:

  • Providing coordination, marketing and promotional logistics support to team initiatives as required.
  • Designing marketing and promotional collateral to support initiatives.
  • Sourcing content, posting and managing approved social media channels.
  • Responding to creative briefs (written and verbal) and editing and designing outputs using creative software suite's.

Solid experience in digital marketing principles including digital reporting, posting on and analysis of various social media platforms will be pivotal to success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary or industry qualifications, strong knowledge and experience of creative design principles including skills in creative software suites (eg. Adobe Creative Cloud), intermediate level of visual aesthetics, appreciation of components of imagery as well as high level communication skills across various channels, including sound English writing skills for the generation of copy and editing and preparation of briefs for external contractors.
