Management Consultant Analyst

About the Role:

As a member of the Business Improvement & Organisational Excellence reporting to the GM Business Improvement this full time role is accountable for analysis and risk assessment of data to develop a variety of strategies for business improvement and operational excellence. These strategies are targeted at increasing gross profit margin across the business by identifies areas for improvement, executing an agreed project plan and implementing new practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply in practice the problem solving method, elaborating and conducting the execution of action plans to reach short, medium and long term strategic objectives of the organization à Aligned with first duty
  • Ensure that the results expected from each business area are attained, related to revenue management, cost and time frames. Work in continuous improvement, solving problems of the organization by using PDCA method
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to implement new practices to reduce cost and improve productivity and profitability
  • Analyse, improve and elaborate standardized flowcharts of relevant value stream that impact to the company strategic plan
  • Assist in the rollout of business improvement and embedding agreed process into business norms
  • Support strategy development for each major product category
  • Assist with development of margin improvement strategies by sales channel
  • Analyse data to review effectiveness of business process and use this analysis to develop recommendations for business improvement & operational excellence
  • Lead a project plan to address improvement areas by working collaboratively with teams
  • Work with cross functional teams to implement and validate appropriate analytics against identified performance measurement frameworks
  • Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with stakeholders

Criteria:

  • You will have 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role in a multisite smallgoods manafacturing environment
  • You will have animal meat protein process experience
  • PDCA Methodology experience is required
  • Experience supporting an S&OP process
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Mircrosoft Excel skllls
  • Strong Communicator with excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Quality focus
  • Structured and logical methodology
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously; and the ability to interface with all levels of management
