Youth Worker - Learning Support

• Permanent and Casual positions available (25% Casual loading fees)
• Based in Nikenbah (Free parking available on site)

Carinity Education – Glendyne has an opportunity for a Youth Worker – Learning Support to join the team on a permanent and casual supply basis. You will be responsible for supporting students and acting as a role model, in their everyday life on campus. Youth Workers are also responsible for student casework using the ‘Outcome Star™’ framework, co-creating goals, providing feedback and helping students reach for their potential.


What do I need for the role of Youth Worker – Learning Support?

  • Experience in working with at risk youth/marginalised young people in a support capacity.
  • Cert 4 and above, and relevant work experience
  • Ability to quickly, sensitively and effectively assist with the de-escalation of young people in moments of personal stress.
  • Ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Hold a current drivers’ licence
