Regulatory Technician

Our client is renowned international FMCG company with a wide range of Food & Beverages products. Their Regulatory Team is looking for a Regulatory Technician with SARA knowledge.

Basic purposes of the position are:

  • Use of PLM specification system, creating regulatory information and approving specifications.
  • Maintain knowledge of all regulations as they apply to mandatory label elements. This includes the Food Standards Code, Weights & Measures Regulations, and Consumer and Fair Trading laws.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS/PhD, university degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields with food law dedication (although Diploma level would be considered)
  • Good knowledge of the national Food law regulations as well as International Standards (e.g. Codex)
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in SARA and / or related RD&Q areas (although graduates would be considered)
