About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5 Complaints Officer. This position is located in their busy Canberra office with an initial 12 month contract with possible extensions.
  
About the Role 
You will require strong written and oral communication skills. You will have an ability to empathise and have strong interpersonal skills. Effective problem solving skills are required as well as the ability to remain calm in a stressful or ambiguous situation.

Duties
  • Provide helpdesk support
  • Manage, record and coordinate complaints
  • Managing complex and sensitive complaints & record  

Requirements/Skills
  • Proven experience in managing complex or sensitive complaints including ministerial and executive correspondence and briefs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt and negotiate in a flexible and rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and establish productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
