Concrete Batcher

WorkPac Dubbo is seeking an experience Concrete Batcher to be based in Mudgee NSW.

About the Client

Our Client is an international building products and construction materials group with three strong divisions. With its headquarters in Sydney, Australia, the client has approximately 17,000 full-time equivalent employees (including in JVs) working across over 700 operating sites in 17 countries.    

About the Role

A great opportunity has become available for concrete batcher based at our Mudgee Concrete Plant.  The main focus of this position is to ensure the production requirements meet both manufacturing costs and customer expectations.  To be successful in this role you must be customer focused and be able to prioritise your workload with an emphasis on conducting yourself safely at all times.

Key duties:

  • Batching of orders to specified mix designs
  • Undertake all day-to-day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant including stock control of raw materials
  • Allocating trucks to ensure the smooth operation for the client and  customers
  • Be responsible for managing the day to day activities of a concrete batching plant  
  • General yard, housekeeping and plant maintenance
  • Commitment to safety including adhering to the client's Zero Harm policy

Must haves:

  • Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience
  • A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement  
  • Competent when working with computers including various software packages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse customers
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Proven ability to work within a team
  • A front end loader ticket (preferred)
  • Construction white card
