About this Opportunity

Our Global Logistics division is seeking an energetic and self-motivated Business Development Executive to develop and further build our business in Victoria. Reporting to the State Manager of Victoria and the National Business Development Manager, you will be a self-starter with the discipline and energy to work as part of the National Team, delivering sales growth that exceeds targeted results. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, develop and grow within the business in a supportive environment.

To be considered for this position you will need strong communication and Customer Service skills.

Key Duties

  • Deliver and exceed sales targets through effective relationship development and product management;
  • Identify new opportunities and clients, continuously looking to increase sales and revenue;
  • Consistently work effectively with the sales and operational teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers and company;
  • Manage your performance and contribution through effective reporting and;
  • Assist in preparation of bids, RFQs and quotations with customers and suppliers.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working in a sales / business development or high level client account management role ideally within the freight forwarding and logistics industry;
  • Proven ability to be able to meet KPI’s and develop collaborative professional relationships;
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Customer Relationship Management systems;
  • Disciplined team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
