Due to our continued growth we have an opportunity for a Casual Medical Receptionist to join our practice team.

The hours will vary, flexibility and availability to cover permanent staff leave and shifts with minimal notice is a pre-requisite, some Saturday shifts will be required on a rotating basis. 

You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day running of the Practice during your shifts, as well as undertaking general office duties as required at our front reception desk, such as document scanning and supporting our GP's with administration and follow up. There will be times that you will work on your own so being a self starter will be important.

The successful applicant will be working in a fast paced busy practice and must have an excellent phone manner, communication skills and be capable of triaging, making appointments over the phone and managing our online appointments. Medical billing and receipting experience is a requirement of this role.

A minimum of (2) year's previous experience in a medical or allied specialist health practice or customer service role is also a key requirement for this role.

Best Practice Patient Software experience will be considered favourably.
