JOB SUMMARY

Our Client is a global leader in the renewable resources sector. As part of their expansion into Australia, they are looking for a General Manager Supply Development to lead and help them shape their future success in the region.

WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF THE ROLE?

The role focuses on designing and implementing the supply development strategy in Australia and New Zealand. This includes;

  • Coordination and alignment with key stakeholders, such as Supply Delivery, Logistics, Finance, Strategy, Development, Sustainability, SCM, M&A, Legal and Finance.
  • Develop business models, according to the Supply Strategy in ANZ.
  • Identify key partnerships and strategic alliances, build business cases around these and propose way forward.
  • Develop and take lead on supplier relationships in ANZ, including identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in each business.
  • Acting as the business representative in ANZ, responsible for building and managing relationships towards various stakeholders such other industry players, country-level, province and local authorities, communities, or permitting authorities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for professionals who are passionate about a career with a global leader.   We are looking for the following skills and motivations: 

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field(s).
  • Minimum 20+ years’ proven experience in business / commercial / strategy development. Experience in  renewables or energy markets is preferred.
  • Proven track record in development of business models, ideally including supply chain arrangements and partnership models.
  • Partnership skills from development to management.
