Credit Administration Officer

What is this role all about?

The primary mission of the Credit Administration Officer is to apply customer payments from bank account per their remittance. To reconcile cash received on accounts within the Hertz ledger for delegated accounts, ensure that all unidentified cash received are investigated and resolved within a 60 day timeframe and timely and accurate processing, ensuring all mechanisms are in place to enable efficient and effective control of the debtor’s ledger.

The Credit Administration Officer has full responsibility for banking and allocation of cash for their designated country, further, they must be able to investigate and resolve customer (internal/external) queries within set parameters and departmental KPI’s. Minimal supervision and being able ‘think outside the box’ is a pre requisite.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this position, our new team member will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as a credit admin officer/administrative officer - non industry specific
  • Account reconciliations
  • Intermediate Excel/Word
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Understanding of relevant and applicable legislation and legal frameworks
