Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician

About the Role

Working with an experienced and highly dedicated team, this position will be responsible for delivering a high quality of service to our customers whilst performing scheduled maintenance and repair work.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved. 
  • Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the customers equipment.
  • Daily workload management ensuring that all jobs are attended to within the specified time frames.
  • Deliver a professional level of service at all times.
  • Maintain an accurate service diary/time sheet record of work performed.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High energy and motivated to succeed.
  • Exceptional ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems.
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate (Forklift Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Automotive Electrician/Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic).
