HR Officer - PM Shift

About the Role:

JBS has the opportunity to join our dynamic Brooklyn HR team as a HR Officer.  The successful applicant will possess the ability to handle high volumes of telephone calls, face to face enquiries, data entry plus perform a range of general office duties associated with a busy HR environment. This role is suited for someone looking to advance in a Human Resource career as this role will be exposed to high levels of HR Officer Duties including, disciplinary action, employee benefits, terminations and Payroll. The ideal applicant will be proactive in taking on new challenges and learning procedures in the HR Department. This position is perfect for anyone who is starting out a career in Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining resource manning levels to meet business requirements
  • Accurate data entry
  • filing
  • Provide high level administrative support to HR Department
  • Compilation of weekly HR KPI reports
  • Assist with recruitment and induction processes
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures
  • Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Updating and maintaining all HR records, employee files and systems database
  • Compliance to Human Resources Management System (HRMS)
  • Backup Payroll

Requirements:

  • Strong administration and data processing skills
  • Highly motivated
  • HR experience will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Highly organised self-starter and committed to seeing projects through to the end
  • Background in manufacturing experience is ideal but not essential to be successful in this role
  • PM Shift commences at 3:00pm

Training will commence on the AM Shift to transition to the PM Shift.
