CAD Drafter

The Opportunity

This role offers a unique challenge for a driven individual who has proven skills and a sense of ownership. Working in a fast-moving office environment with a dynamic team of self-starters and reporting to senior management you will create fully designed briefs with drawings and concepts for supply to the open market for pricing and construction, liaise with consultants throughout tender and build processes, and take ownership of updates to masterplans, O&M manuals and as-built drawings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating concept drawing packages
  • Applying 3d models to architectural plans
  • Responsible for internal and external communication to key stakeholders
  • Materials & finishes
  • Site measures
  • Service layout/coordination
  • 3D drafting of standard equipment
  • Drawing of internal elevations for tender and construction
  • O&M manuals/as-built drawings
  • Masterplan updates

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Expert use in Autocad, Revit and/or Sketchup
  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel and Photoshop
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High levels of creativity, imagination and vision
  • A keen interest in the build environment and the dedication to see projects through to conclusion
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • A keen eye for the detail of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how things are put together
  • A logical, analytical and creative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills & Self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to lead projects with superior attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work to tight deadlines
