Sales & Marketing Coordinator
This position presents an outstanding opportunity to join a successful and long established publishing Company based on the North Shore.  Working with a close-knit team of Editorial & Sales staff, this position is a diverse and pivotal role supporting the Group Sales & Marketing Manager with all day-to-day sales & marketing processes. 

The person we seek for this position will be highly organised, passionate about digital marketing and enthusiastic about contributing to the ongoing success of the business.

Specific responsibilities include:-
  • Providing support to advertising clients via phone, email and face-to-face
  • Providing support to the Sales & Marketing Manager (e.g meeting preparation and planning, presentations etc)
  • Liaising with editorial staff to keep abreast of upcoming content to inform relevant clients and agencies of advertising opportunities
  • Identify and execute tactical sales approaches to existing and prior advertisers for opportunities of relevance (no cold calling)
  • Chasing up materials for new advertising bookings
  • CRM database maintenance, entering client bookings and maintaining the advertising material register database
  • Liaising extensively with printers, mail house, partners and other suppliers regarding production schedule, publication deadlines and delivery dates
  • Creating mailing lists from internal databases
  • Cross referencing website advertising schedule with internal database for online ads
  • Creating and distributing sales and advertising activity reports for clients and partners
  • Creating and sending monthly eDMs and fortnightly html based emails to registered users
To be considered for this role you will have:-
  • Experience in email marketing technology; mailchimp highly regarded however other programs also recognised
  • Experience in a Sales & Marketing support environment
  • Intermediate (minimum) level skills in MS Office
  • Good general knowledge of databases and data input/output principles
  • An excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and rapidly changing media and publishing environment (industry experience not essential but highly regarded)
  • Experience using InDesign (not essential but highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to liaise with all stakeholders
  • A strong desire to learn and develop new skills
