The work of the firm includes landscape master planning, education precincts, communities, parks and public domain, town centres, waterfronts, campus, leisure, tourism precincts and green infrastructure.

We are currently looking for a reliable and responsible Practice Manager to help with our growth and redefine our processes, implement our CRM system Deltek and manage all new business submissions and support marketing activities. This could be for someone already in a similar role, or an architect who is looking to make the move into practice management.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be working alongside our senior management team.

DUTIES: 

  • Oversee and organise workflows to ensure the best productivity and efficiency, reporting weekly to Managing Director on key initiatives.

  • Handle any escalations and work closely with Senior management team and be able to think on your feet to find the best solution and outcome.

  • Strive to design, develop and improve office templates.

  • Ensure and promote a focus on quality with project management procedures and processes.

  • Create and implement workflow and project management processes to make for a smooth, efficient project life-cycle.

  • Review daily resource and workload schedules and manage team.

  • Assist with proposals and submissions.

  • Be responsible for the management of company CRM (DELTEK).

  • Facilitate daily team WIP meetings and supervise delivery schedules.

  • Implementation of DELTEK – Experience of project management flow implementation.

  • Creation and management of operational reports.

  • Co-ordination of team training/education.

  • Manage HR within a team of designers ensuring a happy yet productive working environment.

  • Assist with marketing duties.

EXPERIENCE:

  • University or similar tertiary qualification; Architecture/Landscape Architecture preferred but not essential.

  • Minimum of 4 years in Studio/ practice Management role.

  • Intermediate to high computer skills across MS Office, Adobe suite.

  • Experience in using DELTEK or other project management tools.

  • Experience in proposal/ Submission writing and co-ordination.
