HealthPathways Support Officer

About WAPHA

 

WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is the peak planning and commissioning body for primary health care services in Western Australia (WA), with an annual turnover exceeding $100 million.

We oversee the strategic commissioning functions WA's three Primary Health Networks: Perth North, Perth South and Country WA.

WAPHA's primary objective is to improve health outcomes and patient experiences through the commissioning of appropriate services where they are most needed.

 

The role

HealthPathways is an online portal for GPs and allied health professionals which documents clinical pathways co-designed by local General Practitioners, Medical Specialists and other providers of health and community-based services. It is designed to support clinical decision making and create improved awareness of available services for patients.

The HealthPathways Support Officer is responsible for a number of administrative tasks including processing invoices, maintaining service information data on the HealthPathways website and WAPHA’s CRM, responding to feedback and producing scheduled and ad hoc reports.

This role will also work closely with the HealthPathways Clinical Editors and HealthPathways Coordinators to support service mapping and maintenance of the HealthPathways website. This includes undertaking research, organising working groups and gathering referral information.

This is a fulltime position based at the WAPHA offices in Rivervale.

 

About you

The successful candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in health or human services or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent oral and written skills
