Enterprise Risk & Scheduling Manager

The Role:

Do you want to be part of a leading organisation, which dates back 300 years in the shipbuilding industry?

Navantia Australia are currently looking for a highly driven Enterprise Risk & Scheduling Manager to join the team at its Garden Island office. You will be play a pivotal role in managing the programs risks, schedules and estimates for the AOR Enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Enterprise Risk Management, preferably in the defence or maritime industry and be confident in undertaking analysis of the Schedule Status Report, schedules and identifying process improvements. Your focus will also be to establish a close and working collaborative relationship within the Navantia Corporate Engineering Support team, the Commonwealth and the Industry Partner to grow a credible, capable and efficient engineering in-service support capability.

 

In this role, you will:

  •  Support the AORSPO Planning team in the implementation of internal asset management training sessions for Navantia Australia and support contract personnel
  • Develop and implement a Sustainment Work Breakdown Structure, associated dictionary and schedules for AOR
  • Undertake analysis of existing Schedule Status Report and identify and implement improvements
  • Ensure key performance indicators (KPI) metrics are identified and reviewed to meet customer requirements
  • Manage the Enterprise Risk Management tool for the AORSPO
  • Manage and provide supervision to the Scheduler
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation

 

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Experience working in the defence or maritime and industry
  • Extensive experience in Risk Management, Scheduling and Estimating
  • Strong project management skills and stakeholder engagement working at all levels of the business and clients
  • Australian Citizenship holding or eligible for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance to a minimum of Baseline
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Project and using OPP scheduling tool
