Telecommunications Technical Analyst

  • 12 Month Maximum Term role

The Role:

Working within the Dispute Resolution team, the Technical Analyst’s main purpose is to provide support to the Technical and Regulatory Specialist in relation to technical aspects of unresolved complaints.

 Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide guidance and support to Dispute Resolution staff in relation to technical aspects of unresolved cases
  • Provide training to staff as part of the Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution (Industry) and staff induction
  • Provide support to the Technical and Regulatory Specialist, including research and preparation of information for the TIO’s Knowledge base
  • Manage a caseload of technical cases
  • Liaise with providers and conciliate outcomes to disputes 

 Your skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in management and resolution of telecommunications faults complaints
  • Experience in telecommunications technology
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to collate and analyse information
  • Ability to communicate complex information in writing, logically and persuasively and in plain English
  • Highly developed verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse technical issues and information as well as sound decision making skills.
  • Computer literate and highly competent in the use of MS Office suites.
