You will be guided by senior lawyers, and have access to real-time support from other colleagues, through our company’s online communication interface. Successful candidates will be rewarded with a chance to experience first-hand matters being heard in the higher courts such as the Supreme Court, and will have additional opportunities to experience what it’s like to work interstate and overseas in major cities like Melbourne and Shanghai. 

If you are a graduated or junior solicitor, and you have at least 1 year of work experience (as a solicitor or paralegal), then this could be the opportunity for you. 

 

The Role 

You will be working alongside senior lawyers in a number of areas such as: 

  • Litigation 

  • Commercial (general advisory) 

  • Family Law 

  • Criminal Law 

  • Immigration 

You will gain first-hand experience in areas such as: 

  • Preparing important court documents and witness statements 

  • Interacting with clients and helping clients solve real-life situations 

  • Collaborating with barristers and senior counsel 

  • Handling legal documents, file administration and assisting in a general manner 

  • Conducting legal research 

 

Candidate Requirements 

  • Chinese language capability (ability to listen and understand is a minimum requirement) 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ post admission experience 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

  • Attention to detail 

  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
