Project Manager- Homebush 
Maximum Term Contract- 9 Months 

As part of Automotive Holdings Group (AHG), the AHG Refrigerated Logistics Division (AHG RL) inclusive of Rand Transport, Scott's Refrigerated Freightways, J.A.T Refrigerated and Harris Refrigerated are one of Australia's largest refrigerated and cold storage businesses. 

AHG RL currently have a  maximum term opening for a person with business analysis and project management skills to support a range of key initiatives. 

Working within a team environment, the primary purpose for this role is to ensure a series of business initiatives aimed at improving operational and cost performance are planned, implemented and monitored. This is a maximum term role spanning nine months. 

The key functions of this role will include: 

  • Analysis of financial, business and operational data to validate high level objectives and identify key outcome targets
  • Prepare detailed cross functional project plan aimed at ensuring delivery of objectives within timeframes 
  • Implement project management structure including status update reporting, co-ordination of timeframes and issues resolution process 
  • Establish post implementation monitoring and reporting routines 
  • Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders in the operations teams to assist in delivery of objectives and identify other areas for improvement 
  • Presentation of status and results to senior management 

In this role you will need to have: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and relevant professional qualification 
  • Reasonable exposure to the transport industry and key transport management systems 
  • Experienced in analysing financial and operational data and in summarising and presenting results and trends 
  • Experienced in project management concepts and structures 
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a high variety of stakeholders including operations and finance teams
  • Driven to achieve lasting improvement, with a problem solving approach 
  • Capability presenting summary outcomes, status and issues to senior levels of management 
  • High proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, Word and Powerpoint applications
