Quarry- Lab Technician / Quarry Tester

Protech are currently seeking Laboratory Technician / Quarry Tester
to assist in a ongoing position at a Quarry in Deer Park , This position is an ongoing night shift Position. Monday - Friday with potential Saturday requirements.

Main duties will include:-
• Sampling and preparing daily samples.
• Processing samples to the requirements of Australian and Vicroads Standard.
• Reporting results to the production & management teams in a timely manner.

Additional duties may include:-
• Data entry.
• Equipment Calibrations.
• Product Evaluation & Analysis.
• Inventory Management.

To be considered for this role you will require:-
• Minimum year 12 education.
• Experience in a laboratory or operational environment is desirable but not essential.
• Self Motivated and able to meet deadlines.
• Safety Focussed.
• To be apart of a team environment.
• Computer literacy skills, G-Suite, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & QESTLAB.
• You must be able to pass ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

The position could lead to fulltime employment if the applicant successful meets all requirements of the position.
