Presentation Coordinator

We are seeking Casual On-Air Presentation Coordinators to join our On-Air Presentation team in our MediaCloud division to start immediately. 

This position is responsible for the presentation of programs and related material, keeping to station schedules and timings.

To be successful in the role, you will have excellent attention to detail and have proven experience and skills switching "live" events to air (Studio & OB) and setting up and checking appropriate sources.

 

Duties:

  • Maintain channel output via the network automation playlist
  • Effectively perform all presentation related duties such as previewing and segmenting
  • Pre-transmission preparation checks of playlists and maintenance of required databases
  • Make modifications to channel playlist schedules to manage emergencies or changing transmission needs

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an On-Air Presentation Coordinator working with network automation systems 
  • Sound understanding of network schedule splitting, transmission time zone implications, program classification and CAD commercial classification system
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, broadcast and production environment, such as television, film and radio (preferable)
  • Ability to work independently and foresee consequences when making decisions
  • Client focused and continually searching for ways to increase client satisfaction
  • High degree of initiative to make suggestions and offer proactive solutions 
  • Ability to communicate clearly to ensure appropriate level of understanding of issues are conveyed

**Please note, this role involves shifts across 24 hours/7 days per week. Some these shifts may be available at short notice depending on availability.
