Overview of the Role
The key focus of this role is to coordinate sportsfields bookings, work with remote floodlight telemetry and undertake administration for sportsfields, along with working with Sports Associations and Sporting Clubs to assist in the management of sportsfields facilities and assets.
Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate with a number of sporting and recreational groups to assist them with our varied range of venues. You enjoy a varied job where every day is different from the next and enjoy working indoors as much as you enjoy working outdoors.
Key activities of this role include:
- Effectively liaise with sporting associations/clubs, schools, community groups, commercial organisations, the general public and Council staff to issue licences and permission to use Central Coast Council managed sportsground assets / facilities;
- Ensure that inspections of Central Coast Council managed open space hired facilities are undertaken following use;
- Undertake administrative functions associated with the position including telephone enquiries, requisition of goods, works and services, effective management and updating Central Coast Council’s booking system for Open Space assets.

This role provides a salary range of between $62.9k to $75.5k per annum + superannuation.
