PROJECT MANAGER, STATE FACILITIES

  • $98,396 - $119,052 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed-term, 2 years
  • Usual Work Hours: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: CBD (flexibility may be available)

The Creative, Sport and Visitor Economy Group works to strengthen Victoria's reputation as Australia's leading cultural, sport, tourism and events destination with a key focus on driving both economic and social benefits for the community and visitors alike, ensuring that the best cultural, sport and recreation and events experiences are accessible to everyone.

Reporting to the Group Manager, State Facilities, the Project Manager will contribute to the ongoing development of the State's major sport and recreation facilities, with particular involvement in the redevelopment of the State Basketball Centre.  The role involves participating in a small, dynamic team, liaising with a wide range of sporting and public sector stakeholders to support strategic planning, business planning, project management, and the provision of high-level advice on sporting facility matters.

The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate skills in -

  • project management;
  • written communication;
  • self-management;
  • verbal communication;
  • policy skills;
  • creativity and innovation; and
  • teamwork.
