About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Bank Finance, this role will provide intermediate level accounting duties for the finance and accounting team and will assist in the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. 

 
Duties
  • Prepare regulatory reports (D2A, BAS return)
  • Review general ledgers and analyse actual vs. budgeted figures
  • Assist in preparation of monthly profit & loss, balance sheet and capital adequacy calculation
  • Assist in the completion of balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Contribute to the preparation of Annual Report, Financial Statements and annual budget
 
Skills & Experience
  • Relevant Accounting Qualification with 1 -3 years financial management and accounting experience
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to read, analyse and communicate written and verbal information
  • Strong ability to solve problems, perform numerical calculations and interpret data
  • Experience in banking or financial services well regarded
