About the Role

This newly created, full time permanent position, based in Brisbane CBD, is perfect for a recent university graduate or entry-level applicant with experience in managing social media platforms.

 

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for actively creating and driving the delivery of RACQ social media content by increasing brand engagement and two-way communications with RACQ?s members and the greater Queensland community. Using unique and compelling social media activity, you will assist with member enquiries and complaints while protecting and enhancing the RACQ brand. You?ll also analyse, review and report on campaign effectiveness and initiatives. You will help add value to members by educating audiences about advocacy issues, community initiatives, products and programs.

 

Whether you?re creating and curating brand content for RACQ?s LinkedIn and Twitter, identifying exciting new Instagram collaborations or analysing the effectiveness of a Facebook ad campaign, you?ll be working in a vibrant, hard-working team who share one goal: to enhance the lives of RACQ members.

 
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years? experience in a similar social media role
  • Sound knowledge and skills in moderation, community management, online reputation management and engagement principles
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, review and report on campaign and content effectiveness
  • Strong writing and content creation skills across social media channels, with ability to adapt tone and voice for different channels
  • A creative eye and passion for continuous improvement
  • A genuine curiosity and passion enjoyment of social media
