About the Role

We have a great opportunity for a registered Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Townsville. Flexible working hours over a 76 hour fortnight.

Paediatric experience in feeding preferred.

We will consider Graduate applications for this role.

Key Responsibilities

As an experienced and Registered Speech Pathologist, you will be required to:

  • Proficiency in providing assessment, intervention and management of children and young adults with physical disabilities, developmental delays, communication impairments and other associated disabilities
  • Proficiency in the ability to design and implement a service plan for customers that achieves their goals
  • Proficiency in meeting benchmarks for service provision
  • Provide evidence based therapy to achieve customer goals within available resources.
  • Maintain confidentiality in line with Code of Conduct and comply with all Montrose Therapy Policies & Procedures
  • Adhere to all work health & safety policies and compliant within the ethical boundaries of Montrose Therapy.

  1. Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current full membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  2. Current Blue Card and CPR Certificate
  3. Certificate of completion - NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  4. A current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for service provision.
