We are seeking to engage an Accountant to join our CPB Contractors based in North Sydney. Supporting our building business, your responsibilities will include however not be limited to the following:

  • Assist in preparing accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports for the business unit and projects
  • Controlling and managing the business unit general ledger, including preparation of reconciliations.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of financial data and forecasts.
  • Business unit creditors, debtors and cashflows are managed to the benefit of the company.
  • Business unit compliance with all CIMIC and CPB policies and practices.
  • Contribute to setting the strategic financial direction for the function in line with business unit strategy, with appropriate contributions from your own work team.
  • Planning and scheduling own work to meet required time lines and outputs.

To be successful in securing this position you have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with an Accounting degree, and preferably with a CPA/CA or near completion.
  • Developed communication and influencing skills and a team player. You are a go getter who can work independently with a high attention to detail. Your commitment to meet tight reporting deadline is a must.
