APS 5 Events Officer - Darwin

Ignite are working an APS 5 Event Management position on behalf of a large federal government department.
 
The location is: DARWIN
 
Looking to start in October 2019, this role is due to run until June 30 2020 with further possible extension options!

The role will include: 
  •  Assisting in the preparation and logistics of a range of events: forums, conferences and webinars.
  • Monitoring community and mainstream engagement activities.
  • review and provide advice on communications resources,
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with, and helping to coordinate, external suppliers
  • Providing a mentor or supervisory role to support team members
  • Liaising with, and helping to coordinate, external suppliers
  • Contributing to and taking ownership of data management, including the collation of stakeholder
  • mapping and reporting of feedback.
  • Providing input to briefing and event related documents,
  • Supporting the delivery of materials for strategic projects as required.
   Please note you will be required to:
  • hold a current class c driver’s licence 
  • Intrastate and interstate travel involved
  • You will need to be an Australian Citizen to apply
