Client Service Officer (Rockhampton)

The Role

We currently have a newly created opportunity for a Client Service Officer to join our Rockhampton office on a permanent, full time basis. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced client facing role, the Client Service Officer will be solely responsible for handling all client enquiries and will act as the contact point for an ongoing life cycle relationship with QSuper clients.

Utilising your existing knowledge of advice strategies acquired in a similar financial services industry role, you will be driven by your ability to manage stakeholders, whilst also performing a variety of support services to assist the QSuper Financial Advisors. This is a high-volume role requiring excellent organisation and client service skills and is a great opportunity to be part of a high performing team providing the best in customer support!

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal Client Service Officer will possess:

  • Completed or commenced relevant tertiary education - highly desirable
  • Experience in finance, superannuation, insurance or financial planning administration
  • Current knowledge of or ability to develop basic understanding of current technical and legislative knowledge on:
    • Salary sacrifice
    • Taxation
    • Investment markets and shares
    • Managed funds
    • Fixed interest market
    • Retirement and superannuation
    • Social security
    • Financial planning and retirement planning strategies
    • Personal insurance
  • Demonstrated experience using Xplan
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively time manage, plan and organise a high volume of tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport building skills.
