Accounts Officer

To assist with our rapid growth and expansion we are looking for an ambitious, highly organised, and detail-oriented full-time Accounts Officer to join our Corporate team.

This role will see the Accounts Officer complete day to day accounting and month-end duties.  As we are a small and close-knit team, your role will be dynamic and hands-on and you will report directly to the Finance Manager.

To be successful in this role you must be able to:

  • Book-keeping and reconciliation of the bank accounts on a daily basis;
  • Provide assistance in the month-end processing of General Ledger accounts, including processing month-end journals;
  • Assist in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and end of year reports;
  • Assist with processing invoices, liaising with  suppliers 
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks required by management.

Skills Required:

  • Tech-savvy attitude (Microsoft Excel, ​MYOB
    and experience with an ERP system) with a willingness to learn.
  • 1​-2 years' experience in similar role desired, but not essential;
  • ​​Studying towards CPA qualification desired, but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Discretion as there will likely be sensitive information and figures discussed
  • The ability to work to strict time constraints
  • The ability to prioritise work
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines
