Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the National Service Director, your responsibilities will include

  • Responsible to carry out day to day work both on-site and in-house on service, installation, uninstall, period Maintenance and other commissioning activities of Lumenis systems with minimal supervision and support, ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards.
  • Carry out daily technical service, maintenance and commissioning of Lumenis products to meet company KPI measurements and after sales business targets.
  • Make sure  service administration tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner, cooperate with Call Center and Management.
  • Ensure good liaison with Customers, Lumenis oversea Call Center, Management, Sales and Marketing team.
  • Comply with service escalation procedures, ensuring customer requests, complaints and comments are well communicated between relevant departments for action.
  • Make sure  spare parts ordered, consumed, recorded, returned, stocked properly and accurately.
  • Provide  Technical Support or general assistance to company sales activities.
  • Maintain advance knowledge on safety instructions and company technical product.
  • Obtain training of medical systems from overseas and interstate to better serve and deliver to customer.
  • Interstate service work and overseas business trips will be required.
  • Sound experience on PiQo, Alex, Yag and other laser-based skills will be much preferred.

Skills and experience

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum 5 years' Service Engineer experience.
  • Laser experience highly regarded.
  • Current NSW Drivers license.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
  • Able to travel overseas for training (approx 6 weeks in total split into 2 or 3 sessions).
