The Position

St John of God Subiaco Hospital have a number of exciting opportunities for a motivated Administration Assistant (Ward Clerk) to join the DOSA/DSU team. As an administration Assistant (Ward Clerk), you will be responsible for providing a highly professional standard of reception and a comprehensive admission and clerical support service to hospital clientele, caregivers and the health care team.

We have a number of opportunities being offered. This includes permanent part time, a 12 month fixed term contract on a part time basis and a number of casual positions. When submitting your application, please outline what position you are most interested in.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the mission and value of St John of God Health Care.
  • Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10 or equivalent).
  • Previous clerical / reception experience in the hospital / health care environment.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an interactive environment as well as work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with MS Office and relevant databases.
