National Operations Manager

The MotorOne group has been an innovator in the automotive industry for over 45 years. Due to recent expansion in our Repairs division, we are actively pursuing the expertise of an experienced high calibre National Operations Manager to professionally lead the operations across our fixed sites and mobile repair businesses nationally.

This head office role based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne will require inter-state travel from time to time. It will be critical to work collaboratively across the multiple Repairs business channels and maximise efficiencies and synergies across the Group.

You will need to be committed to innovatively and consistently lead the respective businesses to benchmark standards, create distinct USP’s commensurate with the Group’s core values and manage key stakeholders and business partners. Maximising repairs growth opportunities whilst achieving set revenue and profit targets will also be imperative.

The role:

  • Lead the performance of our fixed and mobile operations.
  • Exceed expectations and lead the way with effective, efficient and timely quality repairs.
  • Setting the standard for the delivery of a great customer experiences and ensuring each division is following the determined guidelines whilst working towards consistent outcomes. 
  • Achievement of cost, revenue and profit budgets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all qualitative and quantitative business targets are achieved.
  • Encourage and contribute to the effective management of OH&S requirements to ensure compliant, responsible and safe operating procedures across all business units.
  • Ensure that all mobile and fixed sites are consistently operated in accordance with company standards and relevant government/industry regulations.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in a senior role within the automotive repair industry is highly regarded.
  • A commitment to ensuring we lead the way with innovation and service excellence within the paint and panel industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in a multi team management environment.
  • Exceptional ability to identify, create and implement the required processes and procedures to ensure best practice across the business units.
  • Ability to excel in an environment that is familiar with rapid change and growth across the organisation.
  • A commitment to identify, implement and measure the required development and training pathways.
