Territory Manager

Our client is a reputable international water solutions company. As Territory Manager for SA, you will manage designated sales territory to achieve sales and margin targets and develop profitable business with new and existing customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver required sales results for territory and customers against targets.
  • Maintain familiarity with market conditions, opportunities and threats and work with State Manager to formulate territory objectives and activities.
  • Maintain a high standard of knowledge and familiarity with company product ranges, promotional materials, price lists and company operating policies and procedures.
  • Develop and follow call objectives and secure opportunities for all sales calls, utilising Salesforce CRM as the base tool.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Branch profit objectives through margins and controlling discounts, product mix and expenses.
  • Maintain dealer's reference materials including catalogues and price lists to be always tidy and up to date.
  • Ensure all dealer staff involved with selling products are kept up to date with product range additions or deletions, product changes, price changes
  • Conduct regular training sessions for dealer staff to ensure their knowledge of products is superior to that of competitors products and adequate for performing their selling and/or servicing duties.
  • Maintain dealer finished goods and spare parts stocks at the highest reasonable levels, consistent with their turnover and growth opportunities.
  • Represent the company at field days, dealer trade displays etc.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience selling technical products or working in a technical field service role in commercial and rural industries
  • Availability and willingness to travel in both South Australia metro and regional areas
