Customer Experience Consultant

Scoot Boot is a world leader in hoof boot technology. We are a Tassie company and sell our product globally - we currently have over 400 stockists worldwide. We are a small team of enthusiastic and passionate people who genuinely want to improve the welfare of horses worldwide. 

Our business is constantly growing and we are looking for an experienced Customer Experience Consultant to work full time from our premises in Cambridge Park, Tasmania.

About the role:

This role has been created to help us to increase our engagement with past, present and future customers. 

We are currently implementing a world class CRM platform and need your help to make the most of it! Your role will involve answering all customer enquiries via email, phone, web chat and social media. You will field a range of queries about Scoot Boots, how to size hooves for the correct fit (liaising with the Sizing Team), questions about our range of products and accessories and questions about customer and stockist orders. You will also be responsible for processing returned products. You need to be organised and calm as our work environment can be very busy and chaotic at times!

Your hours will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility for the right candidate. Commencement date is expected to be October 7, 2019.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Opening and closing of business premises daily
  • Respond to all inbound customer enquiries 
  • Note all customer interactions using the CRM platform
  • Outbound campaigns, as required

What we are looking for:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience in multiple software platforms
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude and a flexible approach
  • An understanding of the equine world will be highly regarded
  • The ability to speak French/German or Spanish will also be highly regarded as many of our customers are from Europe
