A Great Place to Work

When you join Capricorn, you join a community of people who enjoy coming to work and a company that genuinely invests in their team members. Our culture is one of our most valued assets, so when we recruit, we look for people that not only share our values but are also excited to celebrate our successes. We believe it is this dedication of creating a great place to work that has resulted in Capricorn being a finalist in the 2019 AIM Pinnacle Awards for Human Resource Management Excellence.

We understand the importance of investing in our team members, that’s why we also have a significant benefits program. This includes development and training, salary continuance insurance, wellness and fitness activities, flexibility with leave, a comprehensive reward and recognition program, and plenty of social events to keep our people connected.

The Role & What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person to join our Claims and Recoveries team. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing a portfolio of up to 200 claims;
  • Determining liability and taking appropriate recovery action;
  • Actioning and following up outstanding debt;
  • Negotiating settlements, including making recommendations; and
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will have experience in Claims Recovery or a similar role in the insurance or finance sectors.

Who Are We?

Capricorn is a member-based organisation which proudly supports over 20,000 businesses in the automotive industry across Australia and New Zealand.  We provide products and services that make it ‘just easier’ for our members to grow and be sustainable.  This includes trade credit, risk protection, equipment finance, trade events, travel services, fuel cards and 24/7 online access to knowledge-based products and services.
