Receptionist - Sydney CBD (close to Museum station)

Genesis Offices is a serviced office firm based close to Museum Station (Sydney CBD) and are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their busy front desk on a full time, permanent basis to fill a Receptionist position.

Position Overview:

Genesis Offices offers a busy and diverse environment who cater to all types of business. They are looking for a positive and enthusiastic applicant who has a passion for people and service.  You will have the ability to think on your feet and to work well in an agile environment.

This role, as a member of the Support Team, involves reception and admin duties in support of their diverse client base.  Whilst at times busy the working environment is fun and supportive.

This is an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Reception and telephone answering 
  • Meet and greet clients and guests
  • Manage room bookings
  • Secretarial duties including typing, dictation, court filing, spreadsheets, running errands
  • Courier bookings and ordering of office supplies
  • General up keep of office appearance, cleanliness and tidiness
  • Assist in updating social media pages
  • Assist Manager with monthly billings
  • Assist in organising office events

Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computing skills (Proficient in MS Office)
  • Prior experience in a customer service role
  • Prior Receptionist or Office Admin experience – Preferred
  • You must work well in a team and have exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Professional in appearance – Essential
