The Customer Service Officer delivers frontline customer service by answering inbound enquiries and providing information on salary packaging and novated lease services ensuring the provision of a quality customer experience.

 

Requirements to meet position objectives:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service in a service centre or frontline service environment, preferably phone based or call centre
  • Experience solving complex customer queries (first call resolution)
  • Demonstrated accountability and follow through to see customer issues resolved
  • Experience with sales lead generation (advising customers of benefits / products)

 

Skills and Qualifications required

  • Superior Customer Services skills required, at least 2 years experience in a Professional Call Centre environment 
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex information in a simple manner
  • Culturally appropriate communication skills to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and people with diverse abilities
  • Excellent time management, organisational and prioritising skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and problem solve
  • Capacity to use standard office computing and electronic systems at an intermediate level
  • Experience with sales lead generation (advising customers of benefits / products)
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques for selling services
