We are recruiting the industrys’ best to assist in developing the Ichthys Gas Field and this is your opportunity to play a major role in subsequent phases of construction, commissioning and ongoing operations.

 

To support the development and operation of these substantial assets, we are seeking talented staff to join our Perth team.

We are seeking a Drilling Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to the Drilling and HSE teams. This will be a permanent staff position directly reporting to the Drilling Manager, in our Perth office.

 

The Drilling Administration Assistant is required to maintain a professional, confidential and team-oriented approach in all interactions, provide assistance as directed and actively promote and display the INPEX & Drilling behaviors at all times.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and control, correspondence, reports, documents and presentations for the Drilling/HSE team including but not limited to preparation, formatting, filing and document control.
  • Prepare and collate weekly and quarterly reports for the Drilling Manager & Drilling/HSE teams to meet planned schedules and budgets.
  • Manage control and quality checking requirements for Drilling/HSE team documentation.
  • Act as information coordinator on the Emergency Response team attending Emergency Response Exercises and administering the Emergency Response roster. Consolidate Drilling IMT Roster with the corporate CMT/IMT Roster.
  • Manage Emergency Response Contact Lists/registers and folder updates
  • Organise all interstate and international travel and accommodation for Drilling/HSE team.
  • Process expenses on behalf of the Drilling Manager, Drilling/HSE teams.
  • Manager preparation/finalization/registration of INPEX Drilling Management System Processes and Standard Manuals. Load same and updates up on on-line system.
  • Organise and prepare for both internal and external meetings/workshops including meeting room set up, catering and support during the course of the meetings.
  • Record and distribute queries to Drilling/HSE members who are absent from time to time. Ensure that messages are forwarded in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain various personnel schedules necessary for the smooth operation of the Drilling/HSE team.
  • Assist the team with Business Travel Medicals, Offshore Medicals, all other requirements associated with offshore and onshore travel. Including but not limited to any requirements/training as stated within the Drilling Site HSE Requirements.

 
 
Key qualifications, skills and experience:
 

  • Previous Administration and executive support experience in a technical environment
  • Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry desirable
  • Interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proven teamwork skills
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • High attention to detail
