HR Coordinator

An opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator has become available to join our energetic team assisting with the day to day human resources needs of the business. You will provide information and administrative support to managers and employees across three States regarding human resources activities, policies, processes and procedures.

This role primarily delivers operational HR advice to line managers across the business and provides the full range of general Human Resources services and activities.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Draft employment contracts, letter variations and job descriptions
  • Provide advice on employee relations matters
  • Coach and assist managers in performance management and performance planning processes
  • Develop and update Human Resource policies and procedures
  • Coordinate employee induction programs
  • Award interpretation
  • Participate in end-to-end recruitment and selection in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Specialist

  • Prior experience working in a similar role in Human Resources
  • Willingness to learn and use initiative to bring projects to fruition
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgements and provide advice based on knowledge and understanding of general HR/IR policies, procedures and best practice
  • Proficient knowledge of Labour Law and Awards
  • High level of detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills including HRIS experience
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or similar, desirable
