Client Services and Support Officer

Consolid8 is a multi-award winning national accounting firm with global reach, using cloud technology and real world experience to deliver modern business solutions. The firm has recently merged with BDO Australia, the 5th largest accounting firm globally.

We are accountants with personality who speak to clients using language they understand and utilising the most innovative technology to ensure our clients are able to make fast and informed decisions. 

We are currently looking for a Client Services and Support Officer to join our Corporate Services team at our modern office in Upper Mt Gravatt. This is a full time 6 month fixed term contract, covering parental leave from September 2019 through February 2020, with potential for extension or a similar role within our group.

You must have a genuine desire to help our clients and the entire team and always be willing to go the extra mile. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • General reception duties including management of phone calls, office amenity maintenance, meeting room bookings and preparation, greeting clients and acting as first point of contact for client queries.
  • Ensuring facilities are in working order and coordinating maintenance where required
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Client data base management (including Workflow Max, Xero, Infusionsoft, Tax Portal, ASIC Portal)
  • Performing tasks related to client ASIC Annual Statement reviews including preparing minutes, invoices and jobs within the workflow system
  • Coordinating social activities to assist in maintaining a positive social culture within the workplace
  • Assisting in the preparation of Acceler8 program materials and events and other adhoc administration support as required
  • Coordination of client documentation for signing and disseminating correspondence digitally
  • Liaising with ATO (eg payment arrangements)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ years previous administration experience
  • ASIC administration experience well regarded
  • 1+ years recent experience in providing quality administrative support to clients and business teams
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices (ATO portal, ASIC) advantageous
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritise and organise daily workload to meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to relate to clients and business teams in a friendly and professional manner
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of cloud based software and social media platforms
