Account Manager

OMD Melbourne are looking for an Account Manager to take responsibility for campaign planning management and client engagement for one of OMD Australia's largest client. We are looking for a collaborative and passionate media person to work closely with our clients and to inspire team members to deliver innovative media campaigns that drive exceptional results. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to develop your media career within a collaborative media agency!

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key senior relationships with your client and media owners
  • Maintain regular dialogue on campaign performance and market opportunities
  • The effective translation of the media strategy / property into detailed plans
  • Management of the implementation of plans throughout their delivery
  • Management of the campaign reporting process
  • Responsible for training and development of the junior team members 

Required skills:

  • Tertiary qualified, supplemented by 4+ years of strong media planning & buying experience
  • Full working knowledge of BCC, Roy Morgan, Netratings, AdRelevance, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Implementation planning capabilities and good understanding of media fundamentals
  • Exceptional client facing communication & presentation skills
